  • The pie number has also been used in some spy codes due to its complexities

Interestingly the last time i was going through this pie recitation, I was told that in Chinese, the 3.142… actually reads out as a story which helps you remember. Now that’s a fun fact to know. I’m not entirely sure, but the chinese story is about a monk on the mountain tops doing something. I don’t know chinese so unfortunately i cannot enlighten you much more than that. I’d be interested to find out though.

It’s Pi. I have never heard it referred to as “the pie number.” Just saying.
But the China thing is cool. We need to do something like that.
