- In Ukraine, a woman’s shirt/blouse is very important. Every woman was supposed to know how to make a shirt. Average women had around 15-20 shirts while well-to-do women had over 50 shirts
- Traditionally in summer, unmarried Ukrainian women do not wear hats or bonnets and walk bare-headed, with their hair usually braided

Unmarried women have one or two braids in their hair so it is easy to find them. For work, young women covered their hair with a handkerchief. When not working, and on special occasions, maidens tied their hair back with a ribbon or flowers into the ribbon. During marriage, a covering is put on a woman’s head. After that, she always keeps her head covered with a ‘ochipok’ or ‘namitka’.

Ukranians are beautiful people because modern Ukrainians have a mix of Asian and Arabic blood. This is more true is east Ukraine.
